- 26. Test alternator charging rate
- 27. Check and top-up power steering reservoir (if applicable)
- 28. Check & Top up clutch fluid (if applicable)
- 29. Check and report wheel alignment or tracking and report
- 30. Check radiator condition where visible and report any leaks
- 31. Check coolant hoses where visible for leaks, condition and report
- 32. Inspect exhaust system inc catalytic convertor if fitted for leaks, security and noise

- 34. Check propshaft, drive shaft, joints and grease nipples where fitted
- 35. Check and top up axle and/or transaxle oil (if applicable)
- 36. Top up gear box fluid where applicable and if not sealed
- 37. Check shock absorber condition and report on any serious leaks
- 38. Check wheel bearings for excessive play or noise
- 39. Check steering rack gaiters condition
- 40. Check for general oil leaks (report any serious leaks)
- 41. Remove wheels
- 42. Check tyre size and tyre fitted according to side wall instructions
- 43. Check tyre condition, tread depth, including spare
- 44. Check and adjust tyre pressures (including spare)
- 45. Check wheels for damage or distortion
- 46. Check brake pads for wear or damage
- 47. Check Brake discs and drums for wear, cracks, corrosion, scoring and pitting
- 48. Check brake callipers for leaks and security
- 49. Check foot brake shoes for wear or damage
- 50. Inspect operation of wheel cylinders and report any leaks or defects
- 51. Visually check brake hydraulic system, pipes and hoses for any leaks and corrosion where visible
- 52. Check security of handbrake linkages and travel, lubricate and adjust if required
- 53. Check steering and suspension components for wear and corrosion
- 54. Grease steering and suspension (where applicable)
- 55. Check drive shaft gaiters for security, condition and report leaks
- 56. Drain and refill engine oil
- 57. Replace oil filter
